26-year-old girl commits suicide by consuming ‘poisonous substance’ in Bandipora

Bandipora, Jan 13 :A 26-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Ahamsharief village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday evening.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the girl (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which the family members rushed her to sub-district hospital Bandipora, where she died.

He said that the reason for the suicide was not immediately known.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of her death—(KNO)
