Jammu, August 3: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Monday congratulated Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Auqib Nabi on his selection to the Indian Test squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, describing the achievement as a proud moment for the Union Territory.
In a congratulatory message, the Union Minister said Auqib Nabi’s dedication, perseverance and passion for the game had earned him a place in the national team.
“Your dedication, perseverance and passion have brought you this proud moment. Wishing you great success as you don the national colours,” Dr Singh said.
The Minister expressed confidence that the young cricketer would make the most of the opportunity and inspire aspiring sportspersons from Jammu and Kashmir through his achievement.
