Youth drowns while bathing in Poonch

Srinager, Jun 6 (GNS): A 26-year-old man drowned and his body was recovered in Poonch on Sunday, officials said.

They said the youth, Shakeel Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohammad of Sawjian at present Kankote Poonch, drowned in the Suran river while bathing. His body was fished out about 100 meters ahead from drowning point by local, sources said. A police official confirmed it to GNS and said that a case has been registered. (GNS)
