Motorcyclist dies in road accident

Srinagar, Jun 16 (KNO): A motorcyclist died after he was hit by a vehicle when he was crossing the road at Wussan Chahiloora area of Kunzer in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday morning.

Locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a motorcyclist parked his vehicle on the roadside and tried to cross the road. However, he was hit by a vehicle in the middle of road, leaving him severely wounded.

An official said that the injured was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

He identified the deceased as Wasim Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir of Habilgam Kunzer.

The official said that a case has been registered and investigations has been started in this regard—(KNO)
