Srinagar: (Shaharbeen Times) Zia Shakeel: Parts of Kashmir Valley and the Summer capital of the region Srinagar witnessed rain accompanied by thunderstorms, bringing down the temperature in Valley early on Saturday. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), Valley will witness a “generally cloudy sky with moderate rain/thundershowers” today.
It rained in many places in the early hours of Thursday morning in most parts of the valley, including Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It started raining in Baramulla, Kupwara, Pahalgam, Budgam, Ganderbal and other areas. The rain started at around 6 am in Srinagar and lasted for about an hour. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecast rain in many parts of the state today and tomorrow.
