HC Orders Transfer Of Six District Judges

Srinagar, April 15 (GNS): J&K and Ladakh High Court on Friday ordered transfer of six district judges in the interest of administration.

According to an order by Sanjeev Gupta, Registrar General, Sanjay Parihar, Director, J&K Judicial Academy, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu against the available vacancy
Ms. Kalpana Revo, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri against the available vacancy.

Suneet Gupta, 3rd Additional District & Sessions Judge (TADA/POTA) Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Doda vice Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhary
Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhary, Additional District, and Sessions Judge, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Doda has been transferred and posted as Additional District and session judge Rajouri vice Mahmood Ahmad Chowdhary.

Ms. Masarat Roohi, Additional District & SessionsJudge, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Principal Judge, Family Court, Srinagar against the available vacancy.

Ashwani Kumar, 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge, Jammu, has transferred and posted as 3 Additional District & Session as 3 Additional District & Sessions Judge (TADA/POTA), Jammu vice Shri Suneet Gupta.

Further Registrar General in the order, a copy of which lies with GNS, ordered that Sanjay Parihar, Director, J&K Judicial Academy, shall handover the charge to Shahzad Azeem, Registrar Vigilance. “The transferee Judges shall ensure that all matters pending for judgments/part heard, are completed and judgments/orders are pronounced in such matters before moving.” (GNS)
