Electricity affected in Srinagar areas as Zainakote grid develops technical snag
Power supply to affected areas being restored: CE KPDCL
Srinagar, Dec 03 : The power supply got affected in several downtown areas and Bemina area in the Srinagar city on Saturday evening after Zainakote grid developed some technical snag.
Several consumers told the news agency KNO that Chattabal and its adjacent areas didn’t get electricity since 8:00 PM.
They said the areas were reeling under darkness for more than 3 hours now and demanded power supply be resorted at an earliest.
Meanwhile, Chief Engineer, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), Javed Yousuf Dar told KNO that electricity was affected in some areas being fed from Bemina and Wanganpora receiving stations after technical snag at Zainakote grid station.
