Two Israeli tourists shot dead by Egyptian cop amid Israel-Palestine conflict.
At least two Israelis and one Egyptian were killed on Sunday after a police officer in Egypt’s Alexandria city opened fire on a group of Israeli tourists.
The development comes as the bloody battle between Israel and Palestine’s Hamas has been going on since Saturday morning.
According to local media reports, another person was wounded in the attack which took place at the Pompey’s Pillar site in Alexandria.
The area has been cordoned off by the security forces and the suspected assailant was detained.
A video circulating on social media showed post-attack scenes, with at least three ambulances rushing the victims to hospitals, while onlookers watched from behind a police barrier. (Agencies)
