Today, light to moderate rain showers are expected across Jammu and Kashmir except for Kathua, Jammu, and Samba districts.
Light to moderate rain/snow showers are expected in Kargil district as well, while nothing major is expected in Leh district.

Outlook for the next 48 hrs:
Moderate rain showers are expected across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Light to moderate snowfall is possible in higher reaches.
Hailstorm and gusty winds can occur in a few areas.
