Kupwara, May 18 : The Director General of Police (DGP) visited the Sharda Temple at the Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal, Kupwara district, on Saturday.
An official told news agency that DGP R.R. Swain made his maiden visit to the Sharda Temple. The official said he was accompanied by ADGP Vijay Kumar, DIG Vivek Gupta, SSP Shobhit Saxena, and other police officials.
On the occasion, the DGP offered prayers at the temple.
Pertinently, former DGP Dilbagh Singh had also visited the Sharda Temple when it was under construction earlier in 2022.(KS)
