Former Sarpanch Shot Dead In Shopian
Srinagar, May 18(GNS) In another militant attack, one former Sarpanch was shot dead by militants in Hurpora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday evening.
A top police officer told GNS that this evening militants fired upon former Sarpanch namely Ajaz Ahmad Sheikh from a close range.
He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(GNS)
Former Sarpanch shot at injured by terrorists in Shopian
Srinagar, May 18 (KS) : A former Sarpanch was shot at by militants in South Kashmir’s Shopian district late this evening
A top police officer told news Agency Kashmir Scroll, militants fired upon Ex sarpanch Aijaz Ahamd Shikeh of Hirpora Shopian and injured him critically.
He said the injured sarpanch was immediately taken to nearby hospital for advanced.
A police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KS)
