Srinagar police recovers over Rs 23 Lakh of stolen money

Srinagar, June 08 Srinagar Police on Saturday said that it recovered more than Rs 23 lakhs stolen money.

Taking to microblogging social media platform, according to the news agency Kashmir Scroll the police said, “Srinagar Police recovers stolen money to a tune of Rs 23,46,000 from accused namely Nusrat Nisar W/o Nisar Ahmad Kuchay R/o Barsoo Awantipora.”

The Srinagar police said that a case FIR No. 69/2024 u/s 454,380 IPC stands registered in PS Saddar and the accused has been arrested. Further investigation is going on. (KS)
