150 cases settled in 3rd National Lok Adalat in Kishtwar

Srinagar, Sep 15: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kishtwar organised 3rd National Lok Adalat wherein 150 cases of different nature were settled out of the 302 cases taken up.Besides, an amount of Rs 1,28,40667 was awarded to the claimants in MACT & other cases.According to a statement issued by Secretary DLSA Kishtwar, the 3rd National Lok Adalat was organized in district Kishtwar by the DLSA Kishtwar under the supervision and guidance of Chairman DLSA, Kishtwar Manjeet Singh Manhas.In the Lok Adalat, as per the statement, Criminal Compoundable cases, Matrimonial cases, Maintenance, Civil, Recovery, MACT Cases, Revenue Cases, Labour Disputes and Pre-Litigation cases and other cases were taken up before three benches constituted for the purpose.
