Srinagar, Nov 14: Ganderbal police Thursday said, they have recovered 68 mobile phones that were lost or stolen during the current year in the district.In a statement, the Ganderbal police said, besides recovering mobile phones, they were also able to solve several big scale online financial frauds.50 mobile phones have been returned to their legal owners while remaining 18 phones will be handed to their legal owners today, the statement said.Further, the statement said that an amount of Rs 163449 was recovered and refunded to the victim’s account and an amount of Rs 1145669.08 was put on hold on receipt of various complaints.The statement said, the Cyber Cell Ganderbal has resolved over 44 cases in connection to blackmailing, and social media account hackings.
