Shopian, May 26: In a tragic incident, a 2-year-old girl who was reported missing early Monday morning in south Kashmir’s Shopian district was later found dead near Nallah.Sources said that the girl, a resident of Kumdallan village in Shopian, had gone missing from her home in the morning.Following a frantic search by locals and police, her lifeless body was recovered near a nearby Nallah.Authorities have taken the body for medico-legal formalities, and further investigation into the circumstances of her death is underway.
