Srinagar, April 29Β Three persons were injured in a road accident in the Nowgam area of Srinagar after a collision between two scooties, with one of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
The injured were initially taken to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar and later referred to SMHS Hospital for advanced treatment.
Hospital sources said the condition of one of the injured remains critical, while the other two are stable.
The injured have been identified as Faizan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Newa Pulwama, who is stable; Nawaz Salmani, 20, a non-local resident, currently living in Newa Pulwama, who is in critical condition; and Adil Ahmad Mir, a resident of Gopalpora, whose condition is stable.
The cause of the accident is attributed to over speeding. Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
