Over a dozen injured in Nayug tunnel accident at Qazigund, traffic suspended

Qazigund, Mar 26 (KNO): At least a dozen people were injured in a road accident inside the Banihal-Qazigund Nayug Tunnel on Wednesday evening.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an SRTC bus met with an accident inside the Banihal-Qazigund Nayug Tunnel, leaving around one dozen people wounded. Their condition was being ascertained when the report was last filed.

They said that the bus was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar. “The traffic inside the tunnel has been suspended,” officials said, adding that all the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital in Qazigund for treatment—(KNO)
