Residents of Watigam village in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district are facing persistent difficulties due to poor internet connectivity, severely affecting daily life, education, and access to online services. The affected villages include Watigam, Singoora, Durhama etc remain unreliable and extremely slow.Residents told Northvoice Media Service that accessing even basic online platforms such as search engines and educational video services has become a challenge due to weak network signals. Students, in particular, are bearing the brunt, as dependable internet access is essential for downloading study material and attending online academic activities.Locals further stated that repeated representations to Jio officials have so far yielded no tangible improvement. They have now urged the JIO authorities to solve the issue at earliest.
