Two LeT militant associates arrested with arms in Srinagar says Police

Srinagar, 13 January: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two Lashker-e-Toiba militant associates in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

In a statement to GNS, the Police said that it arrested two militant associates of outfit LeT. Based on a reliable information, Srinagar Police arrested two militant associates from Bulbul Bagh Barzulla namely Muzaffar Jan son of Gh Nabi Mir resident of Old Barzulla Srinagar and Abass Shafi Najar son of Mohd Shafi Najar resident of Natipora Srinagar

The statement further stated that from their possession arms and ammunition viz two Chinese pistols, two magazines, 13 live pistol cartridges were recovered.

In this regard case FIR No. 06/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sadder. Investigation in the case is underway, reads the statement.(GNS)
