Srinagar, July 25: The latest 2:00 PM flood gauge readings indicate a gradual improvement in the River Jhelum’s water level.
Pampore has receded from the danger mark and is now flowing at the warning level, while Ram Munshi Bagh remains at the flood declaration (warning) level, though the trend is declining. Sangam (16.15 ft) and Asham (12.96 ft) are below the warning level, with both stations recording a fall in water level. Authorities continue to monitor the river closely as the flood situation shows signs of easing.
