4 Member Honey Trap Gang Busted in Srinagar: Police
Says They Used To Lure Gullible People & Extort Money
Srinagar, July 20(GNS): Police on Thrusday evening said that it busted a gang of four members for honey trap in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
While informing via it’s official Twitter handle, the Srinagar police wrote, “4 members of a honey trap gang arrested 1.Firdous Ahmed Mir of Rainawari (fake SP) 2.Mohd Tariq Mir of lal bazar( Fake reporter) 3.Ashiya of Bemina (pseudo honey trap girl) 4.Masrat Mir of Habba kadal (fake crime branch officer).They use to lure gullible people & extort money.
The Girl used to set up meeting with the gullible person. The other members of gang would impersonate as professionals like reporters/police & then blackmail the victim. One house of female accused in Mehjoor Nagar
was used. FIR no 68/2023 U/s 392,472,419 IPC at Sadar PS, reads the tweet.(GNS)
