An encounter broke out between government forces and militants in Nagberan-Tarsar forest area of Pulwama.
Reports reaching to Shaharbeen Times that joint team of security forces launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in the area following the inputs of presence of militants in the area. Joint teams of Police and security forces reached the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the encounter.
When this report was filled the gun battle was on in the area.
