The CISF personnel, who was being hailed as a ‘hero’ on social media after he was seen stopping Bollywood superstar Salman Khan at the Mumbai airport, now finds himself in a tight spot, if reports are anything to go by. According to reports, CISF has seized the mobile phone of ASI Somnath Mohanty for speaking to a media organisation after stopping Khan. ‘The mobile phone of Mohanty has been seized as he interacted with the media and it is a breach of protocol. His mobile phone was seized to ensure he is not able to speak with the media further about the incident,’ a leading daily quoted a CISF official as saying. In the viral video, the actor was seen reaching the airport with his entourage. Khan, who was reportedly heading to Russia for the filming of the third instalment in the ‘Tiger’ franchise, managed to evade fans and the paparazzi crowding around him to reach the entrance of the airport, only to be stopped by the CISF personnel for the completion of his security clearance. He was lauded by netizens for being unperturbed in the presence of a celebrity and doing his job. One comment read, ‘Loved the way CISF guy stopped him from entering’. Another netizen commented saying, ‘The power of uniform CISF’. A social media user even saluted the officer for doing his duty as he wrote, ‘I am not a fan of Salman but I liked the way the CISF officer stopped him…Salute him for doing his duty.’ The much-awaited film ‘Tiger 3’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be an action thriller that centres around a RAW agent and an ISI agent, who fall in love with each other. It will be the third instalment of the ‘Tiger’ franchise and will be helmed by filmmaker Maneesh Sharma. Reportedly, actor Emraan Hashmi has also been roped in for a negative role in the film.
