Weather Update
Day temperature in most places in Jammu and Kashmir is expected to stay 2 – 5 °C above the normal.
Temperature in Kashmir Valley can go up-to 33°C while for most of the places it will stay below 32°C.
In Jammu region, temperature can reach up-to 37.7°C.
Many of the Western Disturbances are not affecting Jammu and Kashmir currently, however, these systems have now started to travel in lower latitudes.
Mostly dry weather conditions are expected till Sunday, however, short rain/thundershower spells can occur at a few places in Jammu region, particularly in morning hours.
Monsoon withdrawal is very unlikely before 20th and may not happen till 25th as back-to-back low pressure systems are expected to bring rain to Northwest India.
