earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Kargil in Ladakh on Sunday. The tremors were felt around in the area 11:30 am, according to the National Center for Seismology.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.2, Occurred on 24-10-2021, 11:29:08 IST, Lat: 35.93 and Long: 75.01, Depth: 140 Km ,Location: 184km NW of Kargil, Ladakh, India,” tweeted the National Center for Seismology.
