SRINAGAR: A man was injured after being attacked by a bear in an orchard in the Mirmadan area of Dooru in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, reports said.
The injured man was identified as Mohd Maqbool Bhat, a resident of Mirmadan, Dooru.
Following the attack, Bhat was taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Dooru for initial treatment. Doctors at the facility subsequently referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for further treatment.
The incident occurred in an orchard in the Mirmadan area.
