Army man injured in mine blast in Poonch

Srinagar, Mar 5: An army man was injured in a mine blast along Line of Control in Poonch district this afternoon, officials said.

They told GNS that Naik Rajeev Kumar from Himachal Pradesh suffered critical injuries after accidently stepping on a landmine in Krishna Ghati sector.

The injured army man evacuated from the site and subsequently airlifted to Medical Hospital Nagrota for advanced treatment, they further said. (GNS)
