Traffic department officials confirmed that the continuous rainfall has triggered numerous landslips along the highway, rendering it impassable and posing significant challenges to commuters.
The closure of the highway has disrupted the movement of vehicles, affecting both passenger and freight traffic between the two regions. Authorities are working tirelessly to clear the debris and restore connectivity.
