Ramadan Crescent Sighted in J&K, Announces Grand Mufti Mufti Nasir ul lslam

Srinagar, Mar 11 (KS): Grand Mufti Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Nasir ul lslam on Monday evening announced the sighting of Ramadan 2024 moon.

“Ramzan crescent was sighted in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ramzan will commence from tomorrow,” Mufti Nasir ul lslam, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll said.

The announcement, Islam said, is being made after consulting other respected members.

He greeted people of Jammu and Kashmir and prayed to almighty Allah to ease hardships and shower his blessings, peace and prosperity during the holy month. (KS)
