Auto-rickshaw driver Killed after hit by vehicle in Sonwar Sgr

Srinagar, Mar 26 : An auto rickshaw driver was killed after hit by vehicle in Sonawar area of Srinagar on Monday late night, reports said.

Reports reaching Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that Auto rickshaw driver was hit by unknown vehicle near Sonwar bagh on Monday late evening.

They said he was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, a resident of Pampore in southern Kashmir.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations are underway.(KS)
