Heatwave warning issued for eastern & peninsular India

NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department on Saturday has issued a warning stating that certain regions in peninsular and eastern India are likely to experience, The areas expected to be impacted include Odisha,Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka,coastal Andra pradesh, the weather department on X said heat wave conditions are likely to persist in parts of East india today and in Peninsula India over the next two days before easing, heatwave is a dangerous condition caused by air temperature that can be harmful to human health, It is determined by specific temperature thresholds for a region
