Pall of Gloom in Batwara as Thousands Offer Funeral for 5 Deceased

Srinagar- Amid tears and sobs, thousands of people gathered in Batwara to offer funeral prayers for five individuals who tragically drowned after a boat capsized in Srinagar’s Gandabal area. The funeral prayers were led by Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith President Dr. Abdul Latif al-Kindi, who expressed condolences and prayed for the deceased, stating that they had attained martyrdom.
The deceased included a woman and her two sons, along with two other locals. The tragedy has left the entire Batwara locality in mourning, with residents lamenting the lack of a bridge in the area, which they believe could have prevented the incident.
