Horrific Video Emerges: Woman Attacked for Revealing Rape by Husband’s Brother
A shocking video from Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district has surfaced, showing a man sitting atop his wife’s chest, allegedly trying to strangle her. The reason behind this horrifying act? The woman had confided in her husband about being raped by his brother.
According to the survivor, her brother-in-law raped her on April 2 while her husband was away. Upon his return, she bravely shared her ordeal, only to be met with a callous response. Her husband coldly declared, “You are no longer my wife. You are my sister-in-law now.”
The following day, the survivor’s husband and brother-in-law entered her room. Her husband attempted to strangle her with her dupatta while his brother recorded the ordeal on his mobile phone, she claimed.
After sharing the distressing video and filing a written complaint on social media, the police took action. A case has been registered under sections 376 (rape), 307 (attempt to murder), and 328 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the accused husband and brother-in-law at Khatauli Kotwali police station.
Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused, and Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapati assured that legal action will be taken against them soon.
