Srinagar: Shaharbeen Times : In a momentous event for the region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be performing yoga near the picturesque Dal Lake in Srinagar on International Yoga Day. The announcement was made by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who expressed his deep appreciation for the Prime Minister’s visit and his ongoing commitment to the region.
“I believe it is a matter of great fortune for Jammu and Kashmir that PM Modi will perform yoga near Dal Lake in Srinagar on International Yoga Day, and along with him, more than 7,000 people will participate there,” said LG Sinha. “PM Modi has special attachment to Jammu and Kashmir, and I believe that this is the reason why he is coming to Srinagar on the 10th International Day of Yoga.”
The event, set to take place on June 21, will mark the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day, a global celebration initiated by PM Modi himself in 2014.
