Dental surgeon was carrying out Hair transplant procedures: ZMO
Srinagar, Aug 29 Health officials yesterday evening sealed a private clinic that was running without registration in Chattabal area of Srinagar.
Talking to reporters, Zonal Medical Officer S R Gunj, Srinagar, Dr Shafkat said that on the directions of CMO Srinagar, they sealed a clinic—The Med World that was running without registration.
“The clinic owner had applied for registration in 2022 but were not granted the registration till date. They were operating the clinic illegally. Irony is that a dental surgeon was carrying out Hair transplant and IVF procedures,” he said, adding that “we have sealed the clinic till further orders.”
He said there are clear-cut directions to seal the private clinics operating without proper registration. “We have directions from the Secretary Health Syed Abid Rashid Shah to act tough against clinics without registration,
