The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps confirmed the incident through a post on X, stating that a heavy exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in the Butapathri area of Baramulla. The area, known for its strategic significance, witnessed yet another attack aimed at destabilizing the fragile peace.
The attack unfolded when terrorists targeted an army vehicle in the Butapathri sector, triggering a firefight.
