Srinagar, Feb 21. Traffic movement has been restored on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway, with passenger vehicles now plying from both directions, officials said on Friday morning.

They said Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) are expected to be allowed shortly.

They have urged commuters to maintain lane discipline to prevent congestion, warning that overtaking could lead to traffic disruptions.

Meanwhile, several other key routes, including the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road, Mughal Road, and Sinthan Road, remain closed due to adverse conditions.
