Jammu, Mar 12: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Waheed-ur-Rehman Para on Wednesday voiced concern over the ban on the Awami Action Committee (AAC) and Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (IuM) during a session in the Assembly.
In a brief intervention, Para urged the House to address the issue, highlighting the government’s decision to outlaw the Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led AAC and Masroor Abbas Ansari’s IuM.
“Both the Awami Action Committee and Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen have been banned. It is crucial that we discuss this matter first,” he stated.
