Action to be taken against repeated traffic offenders: SP Traffic Srinagar city

Srinagar, Oct 11, KNT: Traffic Department is mulling to take legal action against repeated traffic offenders in Kashmir capital Srinagar.

While talking to reports, SP Traffic Srinagar city, Muzaffar Ahmed Shah said that e-challans are the best way to find out the history of repeated offenders. “It is easy to retrieve the data about a challaned vehicle. If the data will show that the driver is a repeated traffic offender, we will approach the court and even to RTO to initiate action against the offenders,” he said adding that it was difficult to retrieve the data about a challaned vehicle manually.
