Airtel on Monday has announced the launch of its 5G service in four cities of Jammu and Kashmir. The telecom giant has expanded its 5G service in Katra, Anantnag, Baramulla & Rajouri in Jammu & Kashmir. The telco already has its 5G service available in Jammu, Srinagar, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Kupwara, Lakhanpur and Khour. The company says that its 5G service will be available in a phased manner as it continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.
Airtel 5G Now Available In These Four New Cities Of Jammu & Kashmir:
- Katra,
- Anantnag,
- Baramulla
- Rajouri
Airtel users living in Katra, Anantnag, Baramulla & Rajouri can experience the Airtel 5G on their 5G compatible devices. The company has not announced any 5G plans as of now, so users can use the 5G service on their existing 4G plan. Additionally, users must note that they don’t need a new SIM card to access the 5G service. Prior to the launch of its 5G service in four new cities of Jammu and Kashmir, Airtel had introduced 5G in 5 cities of Odisha, and 10 cities of Bihar a few days back.
The telco had made available its 5G service in cities such as Begusarai, Katihar, Purnia, Dhenkanal, Paradeep, and Bargarh. The company’s 5G service is already live in cities like Cuttack, Rourkela, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Anugul, Sambalpur, Berhampur, and Balasore. A few days back, the company also had introduced it 5G service in North East India cities like Kohima, Dimapur, Aizawl, Gangtok, Silchar, Dibrugarh & Tinsukia.
