All set for assembly elections: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Aug 28 : The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, on Wednesday said all arrangements regarding the forthcoming Assembly elections are in place.

Speaking to a selected group of reporters, the Div Com Kashmir said every minute detail has been elaborately planned to ensure a smooth and efficient voting process.

He added that the polling stations are prepared with much attention to every detail, including staffing, security, access for people with disabilities, and all other needs related to the voting process.

Notably, it is worth mentioning that the Parliamentary elections in Jammu and Kashmir saw a good voter turnout, and this time it is also expected that people will vote in large numbers.—(NVI)
