Ex-Minister Prem Sagar Aziz quits National Conference; extends support to Devender Singh Rana
JAMMU OCTOBER 19- Prominent face of the National Conference, former Minister and assembly constituency Incharge from Bani Assembly constituency Prem Sagar Aziz along with his supports today resigned from the basic membership of the party and extended unequivocal support to Mr Devender Singh Rana.
After resigning from the party, in a statement, Aziz said that he will stand like a rock behind Mr Rana, as his contribution for the Jammu cause has been inspiration for him to work for the interests of the people.
“I remained in Congress for 45 years and joined National Conference only because of Mr. Devender Singh Rana, as I know him he is working for the cause of Jammu and I support his cause unequivocally”. Now that Mr Rana has disassociated himself from the National Conference for the sake of Jammu, I cannot continue in the party and extend my support to Mr. Rana”, he said.
