Srinagar, July 22 – In Baramulla human trafficking case, two more accused have been arrested while three more minors were rescued.
Police in a statement to News Agency Kashmir Scroll said that during further investigation of case FIR No. 173/2024 under relevant sections of law registered in PS Baramulla, it was found that one Ghulam Mohammad Khan, son of Ab Rehman, resident of Narbal and Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Gh Mohammad resident of Janbazpora, were also involved in the trafficking and exploitation of minor girls from outside the UT.
“A police party of Police Station Baramulla headed by SHO PS Baramulla, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, arrested the accuseds, who were shifted to Police Station Baramulla, and further recovered three minor victim girls, who are from Rohingya, Burma.” Police said.
Pertinent to mention that 2 accuseds from Baramulla were arrested and 4 minor females were rescued during the initial investigation of the case.
