According to officials, the case pertains to the facilitation of terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir by providing them with financial and logistical support. Funds were allegedly transferred from across the Line of Control (LoC) through various channels and delivered to terrorists via couriers. The arrested individual, identified as Parvez Ahmad Khan, also known by aliases PK, Sheikh Tajamul Islam, and Khalid, is a resident of Farooq Colony, Bemina, Srinagar.

The operation was planned at CIK Headquarters several days ago, with the accused being kept under both technical and physical surveillance. Officials revealed that he had been evading arrest and was attempting to flee from his current location.

The arrest was carried out based on a court-issued warrant, and the accused will be transferred to Srinagar for further legal proceedings. A transit remand has already been obtained from a Delhi court. Authorities have indicated that more arrests in connection with the case are expected. [KNT]
