Srinagar, Oct 13: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Saturday inaugurated the Border Roads Organisation’s (BRO) newly constructed Kanzalwan Bridge in north Kashmir’s Gurez through video conference.As per locals, the bridge will ease the transportation facilities in the area which is isolated during the harsh winter periods of Kashmir.This bridge will alleviate many of our difficulties, especially in terms of transportation,” Zaheer Ahmed, a local said.The bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 4.13 crores, reported news agency KINS.The event was attended by senior officials, including the Commander of the 109 Infantry Brigade, the Commanding Officer of the Rana Battalion in Bagtore, and representatives from the BRO.
