DISTRICT POLICE KISHTWAR RECOVERED HUGE QUANTITY OF ILLICIT LIQUOR FROM KISHTWAR TOWN

Kishtwar,April 02,2024:In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, District Police Kishtwar have recovered 71 bottles of illicit liquor (22 ltr) from Kuleed area of Kishtwar town.

During routine patrolling a Police Party of Police Station Kishtwar noticed some suspicious activities on a chicken shop in Kuleed area. The Police party on reaching the shop started search of the shop and during search 71 bottles of illicit liquor (22 ltr) has been recovered. In this regard a case FIR No. 90/ 2024 under relevant provisions of law has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar against one bootlegger namely Suraj Kumar S/O Khushi Ram R/O Waseer Kuleed and his associate.

District Police Kishtwar remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicating all forms of illegal activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens. They urge the public to continue providing valuable information to assist in maintaining law and order in the district.“`
