Hijab controversy: Now Aligarh College Bans Entry Of Students With Hijab, Saffron Stole

Hijab has also been banned at Dharma Samaj Degree College in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Some students, wearing saffron robes, protested on campus against the hijab, demanding a ban on the burqa and hijab. The college administration has decided to ban burqa and saffron shawl etc. in the college campus by enforcing immediate dress code. A notice has been posted in this regard.

“This is to inform all the students of the college that they should come in the prescribed dress of the college. If they are not in the prescribed dress, the college administration will be compelled to deprive them of entering the college. Therefore, strict compliance of the above should be ensured,” the notice reads.
