Israel violates ceasefire, launches ‘face-saving’ strike in Iran, Trump issues warning

June 24 : U.S. President Donald Trump issued a sharp rebuke to Israel just hours after reports emerged of a symbolic Israeli airstrike inside Iranian territory, striking a radar installation near Tehran.

The strike comes despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement announced by Trump late Monday, marking a fresh test of the shaky truce between Israel and Iran.

In a strongly worded post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. If you do, it is a MAJOR violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” He added, “The ceasefire is fragile. We achieved peace after 12 days of bloodshed. Do not destroy it in one night.”

The Israeli strike, described by military analysts as “symbolic,” was reportedly limited in scope. According to Israel’s Channel 12, the operation targeted a radar station east of Tehran and was immediately concluded.

The report suggested the mission was a message of deterrence, not an escalation. No casualties have been reported so far, and Iranian media has not confirmed the incident publicly.

Trump, who is spearheading what he calls a “Trump Accord” between the two arch-rivals, has taken personal ownership of the ceasefire deal. Speaking aboard his plane en route to a NATO summit, he told reporters, “I got them to stop. Iran agreed. Israel agreed. And now someone’s dropping bombs? I don’t care who it is—it stops now.”

The 12-day conflict, which began with Iranian missile strikes on Israeli military bases and Israeli retaliatory attacks deep inside Iranian territory, has left hundreds dead and heightened fears of a wider regional war.
