Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Forum..

Press briefing:

Jammu and Kashmir Employees joint action forum aired serious concern and apprehensions about SRO 324 .calls it unjustified.

Jammu 3.3.2021:Jammu and Kashmir Employees joint action forum which is an amalgam of major state govt and public sector employees joint action committees comprising of maximum trade unions of JKUT have expressed serious concern, reservations and apprehensions about possible misuse of recent amendments to the already existing provisions of of CSR for retirement of employees who have attained 22 years of service or 48 years of age. While addressing a hurriedly called press conference in this connection the joint presidium comprising of Sushil Sudan , Mohd Rafique Rather, Suresh sharma, Aijaz khan,Ashish Sharma expressed strong fear and discontentment amonst employees regarding recent amendments. The leaders appealed Honble Lieutenant Governor and chief secretary Jammu and Kashmir to call representatives of employees to explain the concern in this regard so that confidence is built and employees work with dedication without fear of victimization at the hands of their superiors- this was concern of NG employees of JKUT. the Leadership expressed hope that good sense shall prevail and govt will immediately show magnanimity and will call the representive for threadbare discussion on the issue. They alsi said that in case our appeal is not considered , the forum shall be left with no option but to hold protest of leadership at both press clubs at Jammu and Kashmir simultaneously in near future. They also questioned the rationale behind recent circular of govt to seek details of unions/ associations instead better course would have been to registered all geniune unions working for the issues of employees and whoes cases for registration are pending in secretariat and then call for such details..
The leaders said circulars are creating confusion between dutibound employees and govt , which should have been avoided, they claimed. Many senior leaders present on the occassion were.sh Subhash Verma , K.C. Dubey,Rajesh Jamwal Anchal Bakshi,Mrignyani Salathia, Gurdip singh, Darshan Lal, Sheikh Aijaz, ishtiyaq Baig, Javid Akhoon, Rehmatullah khan ,Zia.ul.Haq,Younas Matoo, Sanjay kumar, Omesh Raina and others.
