Budgam, May 22 (KS): In a tragedy, a geyser explosion resulted in the death of a man while his wife and two sons were injured in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday morning.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that today morning a geyser blast took place in the residential house of Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Ab Gani Dar of Bada Mohalla Narkara Budgam, resulting in the breaking down of the walls and roof of the house.
He said that the house owner, along with his two children Mehrab (10 years old) and Ali Mohmmad (7 years old), came under the debris, resulting in the deaths of the house owner and injuries to his two sons, who have been hospitalized.
In the mishap, Zahida, the wife of the deceased house owner, also received a minor, while the house got completely damaged.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident. (KS)
